VOTE CONCLUDED: Integration of CUDOS to ASI (FET) - Token Merge Process

Thank you to the entire ASI community for supporting and accepting the CUDOS merger proposal! This approval marks a significant step forward for the future of decentralized AI. By integrating CUDOS’ decentralized cloud computing capabilities into the ASI ecosystem, we now have the tools to expand our computational resources, increase accessibility for developers, and accelerate AI, AGI, and ASI development. This merger not only enhances the utility of the ASI token but also strengthens our collective effort to create an open, scalable, and transparent AI infrastructure that benefits the global community.

With the community’s backing, we are positioned to lead the world's largest decentralized AI alliance, driving innovation and ensuring that advancements in AI remain in the hands of the global community rather than centralized powers. The merger solidifies ASI’s role at the forefront of decentralized AI, and we are excited about the transformative opportunities ahead.

Token Merge Process:

  • Token Exchange:
    • CUDOS token holders will exchange their tokens for FET (ASI) at a conversion rate of 118.344 CUDOS to 1 FET.
  • 5% Fee:
    • A 5% token merge fee for marketing, research, development, integration, and legal expenses. This fee is already included in the conversion rate.
  • Vesting Period:
    • Tokens will be linearly vested over a 3-month period.
  • Conversion Process:
    • ERC-20 based CUDOS tokens can be converted to FET (ASI) via the SingularityDAO platform.
  • Network Upgrade:
    • The CUDOS mainnet will be halted.
    • All token balances, including delegated tokens, will be merged into the Fetch (ASI) Mainnet.
    • Delegators not migrating to Fetch.ai (ASI) mainnet will have their funds redelegated to CUDOS-managed validators.
  • Exchange-held Funds:
    • CUDOS holders on exchanges/DEXs may transfer funds to self-custody wallets before the mainnet halt and token delisting.
    • Once in self-custody, holders can convert through the SingularityDAO portal or wait for the network upgrade.
  • Post-merger: Upon completion, the CUDOS token will cease to exist, with its value and utility fully merged into the ASI ecosystem.

Phase 1: Rebranding & Merging Tokens – July 1st, 2024

Phase 2: ASI Deployment & Network Upgrade – Date TBD

As the largest open-sourced, independent entity in AI research and development, this alliance aims to accelerate the advancement of decentralized Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and, ultimately, Artificial Superintelligence (ASI).

The ASI Alliance represents a significant shift toward a decentralized AI ecosystem, offering an alternative to AI development dominated by big tech. By pooling their resources and expertise, Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol aim to foster innovation, transparency, and inclusivity in the development of advanced AI technologies.

The founding team of the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance is comprised of AI visionaries, technologists, and thought leaders from Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol. They are at the forefront of decentralized, ethical, and safe AI development, pioneering advancements in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Artificial Superintelligence (ASI).
