📣 News of the Month

The Biggest Crypto Treasure Hunt of 2025

Produced in collaboration with SideQuest TV, we’re hosting the biggest crypto treasure hunt of 2025.

Two creators. Twelve days. Seven borders. More than 2,000 miles across Europe.

A stress test of crypto utility in real-world survival, and a showcase of agentic tools in action.

Armed with only $100 in crypto, a roulette wheel of challenges, no local language, and no backup plan, they must travel from Madrid to Sofia using nothing but crypto. No fiat, no safety net.

Their only lifeline: ASI:One and the agents backed by the ASI Tech Stack (asi1.ai).

To keep the chaos flowing, 48 challenges may strike at any time; chosen by viewers spinning the Wheel of Chaos.

The adventure comes with a massive prize: a $10,000 crypto wallet, unlocked by a 12-word seed phrase.

Each vlog of the 12-day journey hides one of the words, meaning anyone watching closely can win.

Watch the vlogs, hunt down the keywords, and claim your $10,000 crypto wallet!

🛠️ ASI:One Product Updates

August 21 marked a major leap forward for ASI:One:

  •   Voice Chat Goes Live – Users can now talk directly to “Sophie,” the AI voice assistant on mobile. Hands-free, on-the-go conversations with agents are now reality.
  •   Developer Platform Launches – The new ASI:One Developer Platform is live, featuring quickstart guides, full API references, and tutorials. Builders can deploy agents and LLMs in minutes, no heavy setup required.

These upgrades confirm ASI:One as not only a user-facing interface but also a full-stack developer ecosystem.

With voice chat, users can hold real conversations with Sophie on mobile. It’s the first taste of what hands-free AI interaction looks like when it becomes part of daily life, not just something tethered to a desktop screen.

At the same time, the Developer Platform opened its doors. Builders finally have quickstart guides, clean API references, and tutorials all in one place. Deploying agents or LLMs no longer takes hours of setup — it takes minutes.

These shifts show what ASI:One is evolving into: a bridge between everyday users and the developer community, where interaction and creation live on the same stack.

🏆 Hackathons Recap ETHGlobal New York – ASI Hackathon Track (Aug 15–18)

At the iconic Metropolitan Pavilion, the ASI Alliance partnered with ETHGlobal to challenge developers to create modular AI agents using the full ASI stack.

Participants worked with:

  •   Fetch.ai’s uAgents framework
  •   Agentverse orchestration registry
  •   MeTTa symbolic reasoning protocols
  •   Ocean Protocol for decentralized datasets
  •   ASI:One for natural language interfaces

The atmosphere was electric, blending AI newcomers with Web3 veterans. Teams brainstormed, coded, broke, and rebuilt over three days of nonstop energy.

The Winners:

🥇 Etherius
An AI-powered NFT intelligence agent connecting natural language queries to real-time NFT market data via OpenSea. It delivered structured answers, floor prices, and trading volume, complete with buy-on-the-go functionality.

🥈 MintCondition
A multi-agent NFT appraisal system. Multiple LLMs evaluate NFTs independently, then use MeTTa symbolic reasoning for consensus. Transparent agent logs made it feel like “watching a boardroom of AIs negotiate.”

🥉 Waterfall
Fetch.ai agents pulled live NFT and token data, published it via Ocean Protocol, and anchored results on-chain. A vision for turning agent-collected data into reusable, monetizable resources.

Honorable Mentions:

  •   Synapse: A DeFi portfolio manager with AI-powered portfolio insights, token swaps, and performance analytics.
  •   LoveFi: A playful project blending dating, staking, and agents to simulate relationships and bets on outcomes.

Takeaway
Across all submissions, the pattern was clear. Developers are no longer treating agents as tools, but as collaborators. By combining symbolic reasoning, neural models, and decentralized protocols, the hackathon showed the next generation of agent-driven systems is already here.

🤖 Fetch.ai Agent Spotlights

The Agentverse has been buzzing with new additions, each expanding what agentic computing can do in daily life. Here are the highlights from the past weeks:

Podscribe Agent
Transform raw ideas into podcast scripts instantly. Generate structured episodes with intros, main points, and closings, backed by research. Save hours and focus on recording — or even hand off to an agent to record directly.

Each project adds a different dimension to the ecosystem: one strengthens transparency, another pushes the boundaries of imagination, while others bring AI directly into people’s daily routines.

SingularityNET Updates

AGI-25 Conference Concludes

The AGI-25 Conference officially wrapped earlier this month. All keynote presentations, technical sessions, and workshops are available for replay on YouTube, giving the broader community access to the latest breakthroughs in AGI research.

Over 1,000 registrants from 80 countries and more than 11,000 livestream viewers worldwide joined us on the path toward true general machine intelligence.

Watch the recordings on the SingularityNET YouTube Channel.

Leadership Spotlight: Janet Adams

Janet Adams, SingularityNET COO and ASI Alliance Board Director, was named TechRound’s Founder of the Week. Her leadership continues to sharpen the Alliance’s execution and positions the ecosystem as a frontrunner in the AGI era.

This recognition highlights her role in shaping not only SingularityNET’s growth but also the broader ASI Alliance as it unites leading decentralized AI projects.

Janet’s leadership has been pivotal in turning vision into execution. Within SingularityNET, she has driven operational excellence, expanding partnerships and strengthening delivery at scale. Across the ASI Alliance, her work ensures that the ecosystem is not just building advanced AI but doing so with a coordinated strategy that positions it at the forefront of the AGI era.

Key Spotlight: MetaMo

On August 6th, Dr. Ben Goertzel and Ruiting Lian presented MetaMo, a unified formal framework for AGI motivational systems, inside a conference paper.

Built on category theory, functional analysis, and topology, MetaMo is designed to support open-ended agents that can self-modify and evolve their own goals and drives.

The framework aims to create AGI systems that are:

  •   Stable yet adaptable
  •   Capable of safe, incremental self-improvement
  •   Trustworthy collaborators in multi-agent communities
  •   Scalable via parallel sub-agents

The team illustrated these ideas through a running demo of an online research assistant, showing how such systems could evolve to manage complex tasks while keeping safety in focus.

🌊 Ocean Protocol Updates

Ocean launched a new Data Quest: SignalBoost in partnership with Lunor AI.

📅 Duration: Aug 11 – Sep 30, 2025
💰 Prize Pool: $10,000 total ($5,000 in Round 1)
🔗 SignalBoost Challenge

Mission: Identify and submit the crypto news that truly moves markets.

How it works:

  1. Find impactful crypto headlines (listing, hack, funding, etc.).
  2. Submit with timestamp + Coingecko token ID.
  3. Ocean + Coingecko verify price impact data.

Scoring is based on token price changes vs BTC over multiple time windows. Higher impact equals higher rewards, capped at 10,000 points per user.

Ocean and Lunor are positioning this as the foundation for AI-powered market intelligence datasets, crowdsourced directly from the community.

🗓️ What’s Ahead

With AGI-25 wrapped and ETHGlobal NYC setting the tone, the Alliance heads into September with clear momentum:

  •   More hackathons in the pipeline.
  •   SideQuest TV’s daily vlogs (watch for a chance to win $10,000)
  •   SignalBoost Quest continuing through September.
  •   ASI:One updates rolling out for both users and developers.

The story is simple: decentralized AI is maturing, and each step brings the ecosystem closer to real-world, agent-powered coordination at scale.

Stay tuned; we’re just getting started.
