ASI:Chain DevNet consists currently of 4 interconnected components that work together to provide a complete blockchain experience
DevNet
The DevNet is the main development shard for testing and iteration. It includes one bootstrap node for discovery, three validator nodes for consensus, and one observer node for read-only access. The network is permissionless, uses valueless test tokens, and receives frequent updates as new features are tested.
Wallet
The ASI Wallet is a browser-based tool for managing assets and interacting with the chain. It runs fully client-side, supports multiple accounts, and includes a built-in Rholang IDE for smart contract development. Users can connect directly to the network, send transactions, and easily review activity with no backend required.
Block Explorer
The Block Explorer provides a real-time view of blockchain activity. Users can follow block production, search transactions, and review validator details. It surfaces key network metrics and delivers live updates through WebSocket streams for clear visibility into on-chain events.
Faucet
The Faucet issues test ASI tokens for onboarding and development. Anyone can request tokens instantly through a simple, authentication-free interface. Funds have no real value and are meant solely for testing transactions, contracts, and network features.

- Rholang Smart Contracts: Built-in editor for creating, testing, and deploying Rholang code. (MeTTa language option to be added shortly.)
- Configurable Execution: Set Phlo limits and gas prices before deployment.
- IDE: Code Editor & Console. Write and analyze Rholang code, view results or debug errors.

- Custom Networks: Add or configure custom and predefined networks.
- Flexible Setup: Define node URLs and ports for various network environments.
Explorer
- Data Relevance Indicator: Notifies users when displayed blockchain data is outdated or stale.
- Live Activity Feed: Streams transactions and blocks events in real time.
- Advanced Filtering: Deep filters by Deploy Type, Phlo Cost, Block Range, and Address for precise data exploration.
- Validator History: Tracks validator performance and participation over time.
- Network Rating Indicator: Provides an overall health score (e.g., Excellent, Good) based on live metrics.
- Performance Graphs: Visual charts showing TPS, block time, and latency trends.
- Indexer Sync Monitor: Displays real-time sync progress and the latest indexed block status.
